First Week Sales Projections of Rick Ross's "God Forgives, I Don't"

Rick Ross's 5th album, "God Forgives, I Don't" dropped yesterday, and from first day sales, hitsdailydouble.com projected what it would sell in its first week. They have been doing this for a while, and not always far from the truth. Check out the news below-

Rick Ross returns this week’s HITS Album chart to a semblance of sanity.

The large and in-charge rapper continues Def Jam/IDJ’s recent dominance of the marketplace with God Forgives, I Don’t, which will debut next week with between 200-220k in sales, easily going #1. His last album, Teflon Don, sold 176k upon release in July 2010. Previous label winners include Nas, who debuted at #1 last week, and newcomer Frank Ocean, with a #2 bow last month for his acclaimed debut, channel ORANGE. (hitsdailydouble.com)

His four albums before this have been in this same range, so he is on course. Teflon Don (2010- 176k first week); Deeper Than Rap (2009- 158k first week): Trilla (2008- 198k first week); Port of Miami (2006- 187k first week). This is going to be his fourth number one album...it's only his last album, Teflon Don that didn't debut at number one in its first week of release.

It's funny that his album with the least sales, Deeper Than Rap (2009), is the one i consider his best.
