Christina Hendricks in floral frock as she swings by the Build Studio to discuss her new movie Egg

Christina Hendricks has continued to build her acting resume as she stopped by the Build Studio in New York City on Friday to discuss her new movie Egg. 

She commanded attention as she swathed her enviable figure in a plunging red floral dress. Daring to impress, the flawless beauty turned heads as her famous curves were on full display in the low cut couture.Christina kept her trademark fire engine red tress long and loose as her bangs allowed her youthful face to shine. Throwing caution to the wind, the natural stunner went virtually makeup free with just a slight smokey eye and smear of bright red lipstick.She sat down with Alysia Reiner who also stars in Egg - a comedy about two couples and their surrogate. 

In an interview with The Times, the actress admitted she wasn't confident she would get the part of Joan on Mad Men when she went for her audition. 

She said: 'I walk [into my audition] a little bit defeated. But I just put on my game face and did it. And I got this role. 

'And ever since then I get all these, like, amazing strong-a**ed, powerful women.'
