There is something really refreshing about the fact that a nine year old has been nominated for an oscar! It's nice to see some new fresh talent!

Quvenzhane Wallis is the youngest ever Oscar nominee and its really cute listening to her talk about what to wear for her Oscars red carpet! She's really worried about floor length gowns.....

"I might step on it and trip on it and I don't want to humiliate myself,"

To be fair, I have the same fear. Although my tumbles are not watched by millions of people on TV but rather by drunken students as I walk home....big difference!

Mind you, not bad going for nine! She is up for best actress for her performance in Beasts of the Southern Wild.
