Vogue apologise for using teen models

Well this didn't last long.....Vogue have already had to apologise after they used underage models in their photoshoots. If this doesn't sound like something you need to apologise for then you should realise that Vogue took a pledge about six months ago to stop doing exactly that to encourage healthier eating habits amongst models and stop the spread of eating disorders amongst young girls.
It is also to encourage the industry to stop making teenagers work crazy hours.

Vogue China used teenage model, 15 year old Ondria Hardin and Japanese Vogue used 14 year old Thairine Garcia in their August and December shoots. What is crazy is no one stopped to google or ask how old they were when both do not look a day over their actual ages!!!!!


Now here comes the statement of sorry-isms.......
“The Health Initiative banning underage models is very serious, and we will reinforce it. I apologize for the error that took place in China. We will do everything possible to prevent future errors.”
